Mayhem Athlete’s Summer Shred programming is designed for anyone looking to get as shredded as possible in a small window. The 4-week program, available here as a digital eBook, features 6 days of workouts and 1 rest day. Each week will have the same structure with 5 days of strength training, and 1 day dedicated to monostructural and metcon workouts. Each workout includes a warmup, main strength portion, and cooldown.
For those short on time, “mini-pump” days are included 4 days each week which are best used on days when you cannot complete the full day’s bodybuilding session as programmed. Also included is a full list of scaling and movement substitutions for those limited on equipment.
The Mayhem Athlete programming team is led by Rogue athlete and 10x CrossFit Games champion Rich Froning, Jr., who has made it a goal to provide simple, effective workout options that can benefit all fitness levels. The guidance and instruction provided in the Summer Shred Program also comes with access to the wider Mayhem community, which combines motivational challenges with friendly support to help people reach their fitness goals.
