Key Features of the Rogue Butcher 2.0
High & Low Angle Push Handles
The Butcher’s design makes it adaptable to any athlete, whether you’re a beginner, a seasoned pro, or rehabbing from an injury. The unit’s high vertical poles (on which the plates are loaded) allow the user to push the sled from a more upright position, while the low horizontal handles on the opposite end of the unit offer a greater challenge, putting the athlete in more of a mountain climbing position with greater friction on the ground. All four handles have a grip-friendly, matte black powdercoat finish.
Easy Storage and Portability
The updated Butcher design includes removable handles and feet, and it can be quickly set up for use again in a matter of seconds. For a solid 74 LB steel weight sled, the Butcher is also uniquely compact (42.25” x 47.25” footprint), making it easy to transport or stow out of the way when not in use.
Quality Rogue Construction
Like all Rogue products, the Butcher is held to a higher standard of manufacturing. Each unit is built in Columbus, Ohio, using 2x3” 11-gauge steel with bolt-on steel feet. This ultra-durable construction enables the Butcher to handle years of abuse on multiple surfaces, indoor/outdoor, with a total load capacity topping 500 LBS.
Part of a Growing Arsenal
Rogue’s American-made weight sleds and yokes have been put to use for years by CrossFitters, Strongman competitors, sprinters, football players, and a wide variety of other athletes. The Butcher is part of a top-tier, in-house Rogue collection that includes the Rogue Dog Sled, the Rogue "E" Sled, and our Y-Series Rogue Yokes.
Optional Ski & Extra Foot Plate Additions
Customers can choose to add a set of UHMW plastic skis to their order for an additional price. These 1/2” thick skis come with all required hardware and can dramatically reduce the risk of floor damage and scuffs as you train. The ski set, as well as optional replacement foot plate sets, can be ordered with the Butcher itself or a la carte via the order menu on this page.
