Great tool for training and pairs perfect with the e sled

Good quality product well-made, good price and very versatile for what I want.

I like the funnel filler bags better than the original filler bags. The velcro on the sides help keeps the inner bag more secure this keeping the sand more evenly distributed, as is possible for sand. Very durable!! I have had the first one I purchased for over 6 years, and I do a lot of military type sandbag training. Great product! I have several.

The sandbags themselves are five star quality, but the filler bags are a poorly thought out one star system. I have both a Medium and Large Sandbag with the appropriate filler bags for each. The sizing of the filler bags and Rogue's recommendations seem a bit ridiculous and poorly thought out. When you take into account the length of the velcro closure, Rogue's recommended filler bags are quite a bit shorter than the outer sandbag. This means placing multiple filler bags inside the outer bag and ends up being a patchwork of chunky, ill-fitting bags, and the sand in them does not move or flow in any natural way during use. It also means that you really can't load the filler bags with much dry sand and fit very many into the outer bag which severely limits the maximum weight you can achieve. For example, using three or four large filler bags with dry sand in the large sandbag limits the weight to about 80lbs (the max is supposed to be 160lbs). Same basically goes for the medium sandbag. My solution has been to use filler bags one size larger than the external sandbag (an XL filler bag in a Large sandbag and a Large filler in a Medium sandbag). When used like this the filler bags are close to the same length as the external bag. This allows the sand in the filler bags to flow around inside the outer sandbag in a much more natural fashion. So, for my Large sandbag, I can easily place a 50, 40, and 30lb X-Large filler bag with dry sand inside for a 120lb total. For my Medium sandbag I have a 30 & 20lb Large filler and a 15lb Medium filler bag inside for a 65lb total. My personal feeling is that Rogue should make the filler bags just shy of the same length as the outer bag (and take into account the velcro closure) and perhaps decrease the width of the filler bag so they don't get too loose when 1/2 to 3/4 filled with dry sand. I read quite a few negative complaints in the reviews about the filler system prior to purchase, and now I understand what they were talking about. Perhaps my solution will help others if they're unhappy with Rogue's multiple filler bag system.

Bought this at Xmas and it’s awesome. Noticed some fraying of stitches after 10 wods but nothing major. No sand leaks. Female with 40lb sand in and it’s great. If you want option to add bags in, I’d go with other filter bags instead of funnel bag.

This bag is gigantic. I train in a BJJ gym and nobody has a use for it. It I has to be full or it bends in half and is not functional. With crumb rubber it shouldn't be too bad but sand is ridiculous. Probably 300lb. Can't get it on a scale but it significantly heavier than the Large at 176 pounds. Small and medium even large are phenomenal pieces of equipment. 5 star all the way.
