She’s now so far ahead, Paige Semenza 🇺🇸 holds up a hand when they pass each other on the backstretch, as if bidding her farewell. Understandable. Waving is usually the best you can do when chasing Haley Adams in a running workout.

“I was trying to give her a high five!” Paige clarifies at the finish, laughing out loud at the idea of catching up: “Listen,” she says. “I’m happy if I can finish within a minute of Haley in any endurance event.”
